Cosy old cottage, close to Huntly train station

A quiet, end-terrace cottage in Huntly, off the main streets but in easy walking distance to the train station and town centre. The cosy living room is fitted with an efficient log burning stove, and you will find a basket of wood on your arrival. The kitchen is located at the back of the building with access to a small, enclosed garden perfect for a slow breakfast in the sun or an evening drink on the lawn. The bathroom is accessible via a stairways upstairs. We look forward to hosting you!

The Castle Byre

The 'Byre' is a luxury self catering cottage within a former barn at historic Parkhead Farm. It sits just 200m from the ruins of Auchindoun Castle and has unsurpassed views to the castle on the hill. Being of contemporary open plan design, it retains the traditional look of the original barn interior with large exposed roof trusses and natural stonework. Underfloor heating provides discrete background warmth and there is a modern wood burning stove to give an enhanced level of cosiness.

"This 1 bed cottage is situated in the heart of the beautiful Ballater, Royal Deeside. It has just been newly renovated making it a bit of luxury for you to relax and enjoy your stay. The bedroom has a king size bed, dressing table, wardrobe and place to hide the suitcases, drawers and a T. V. A Z bed and a travel cot are available on request when booking. It has a wood burner and a Scottish theme throughout. We have aimed to make this a cosy and comfortable getaway for you to enjoy.

Idyllic Farmhouse in Stunning Deeside Location

Blackness Farmhouse is a traditional cottage still retaining many of its original features. Bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized, open fires replaced for wood burners and carpeting added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was our home while we converted the nearby barns into our new house. and although storage was tight for a busy family of 6, we loved our time living there and always felt it would make a perfect holiday home. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Royal Deeside 1 Bedroom self-contained 'Bothy'

Self contained annexe in the heart of Royal Deeside. The 'bothy' is a 1 bedroom home attached to our converted farmhouse. Downstairs has a spacious fully-equipped kitchen/living area with sofa bed and log burner. Upstairs is a double bedroom and shower room. Just 6 miles from Ballater, and in the Cairngorms National Park, the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve is on our doorstep with walks and cycle routes. Close by is Tarland Trails 2 mtb centre. Our property has bike wash and storage.

The Den

The Den is a stunning stone built 1 bedroom cottage finished and furnished to the highest standard offering a very comfortable stay for our guests. Set in a quiet rural location and within easy reach of Aberdeenshire’s many attractions makes it the perfect location for your getaway. The open plan kitchen / diner has a fully fitted modern kitchen. A full size single bed can also be added to the large bedroom to accommodate 3 guests. There is outside seating and patio area.

Miller's Cottage at Blackhall in the Angus Glens

Set at the foot of the Angus glens, this picturesque, light and airy cottage has a kitchen/sitting room, a bedroom with double bed and a shower room. Ideal for hill walking, cycling, fishing, or anyone wishing to have a quiet break and explore this special location with its many historical attractions. Scottish Short-term Let Licence number AN-01228-F. EPC rating F although this was carried out in 2015 and the property has been significantly upgraded since then.

Cosy, hideaway cottage in 2 acres of forest!

Holmhead cottage: Enchanting 200 year old cosy cottage set in approx. 2 acres of its own grounds, located in the heart of Royal Deeside, a tranquil and peaceful setting, near woods and pine trees. A home away from home! It has been in my family for generations and we have finally decided to open it's doors for holiday lets. There's photos of my great great Granny on the walls, it's a cosy cottage with tons of history, an absolute gem!

Forglen Estate-Forglen Lodge

The Lodge can sleep up to 6 people. It has a lovely Scottish heritage feel inside and lots of architectural character on the outside. The mantel for the open fire inside was made from elm wood grown on the estate and there is some history to be discovered about the external features . Almost like living in your own mini castle during your stay! There are amazing walks and wildlife on the estate too!

Our quaint cottage is located within the grassed Fittie Squares and is packed with character. Fittie was recently showcased on the BBC2 series “The Secret History of our Streets”.
