Oak Framed Home with Countryside Views

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury cabin nestled in a quiet hamlet. Find tranquility on the terrace surrounded by breathtaking views, or lounge amid thoughtful decor and chic modern finishes in the exposed oak beam interior. Blue Vale is brand new as of June 2018! We helped to design this green oak framed building and have been involved in the whole process of building it, doing much of it ourselves. For our colour scheme we have used different shades of blue throughout, playing on the name of Blue Vale. The furnishing and finishing touches are of a high standard to help promote a comfortable and luxurious finish. There is an eclectic style combining modern country with industrial finishes. Luxury, high thread cotton bedding and towels, large flat screen smart tv's and luxury Neals Yard toiletries help to give the top-end finishing touches we would appreciate if we stayed away from home. Blue Vale is completely self contained but sits in the grounds of our family home. The decked outdoor living space is screened by trellis on the garden side with fields on the other. You would be very welcome to walk around our garden. We can be as interactive as you wish. With living in the same grounds we are close at hand if needed. We will welcome you when you arrive but will be respectful of your privacy. The glorious Blackmore Vale landscape is a tapestry of farmed green fields with a sprinkling of English villages, of which Sandley is one. Walk out (or cycle, using our available bikes) onto country lanes and venture along a web of footpaths to discover this unspoilt part of Dorset. Visit Stourhead, stroll around the ancient towns of Sherborne or Shaftesbury or discover the beautiful Jurassic coast. Visit Longleat safari park, Haynes Motor Museum, Monkey world & Yeovilton Air Museum. Sandley is a quiet hamlet with the neighbouring village of Buckhorn Weston just a mile away. The Stapleton Arms pub can be found here. We are 10 minutes away from the towns of Gillingham and Wincanton where various supermarkets, shops and services are. There is a train station in Gillingham which has a direct route to London in less than 2 hours. The larger cities of Bath and Salisbury are less than an hours drive and it takes around an hour to drive to the beautiful Jurassic coastline. The historic towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are only 15 and 20 minutes away respectively. The quiet rural roads and bridleways of the Blackmore Vale are excellent for cycling and walking. Blue Vale is in the grounds of our family home. There is a one- bedroomed B&B facility on the ground floor of our home.

Willow Arch Shepherd's Hut with hot tub

With your own terrace and firepit to enjoy the Somerset countryside outside over a glass of wine, in the perfectly warm hot tub, or cosy woodburner inside, you are sure of a unique experience. This Shepherds Hut has a long double giving extra space for tall guests and the main area has sofa, dining table and of course your own ensuite bathroom with free toiletries. The traditional fitted kitchen is equipped with all you need to cook meals and there's plenty of complementary tea and fresh coffee.

Log Cabin/Hot Tub on Private Lake Jurassic Coast

This very charming, cosy and rustic log cabin is located on a private lake on the outskirts of a quiet family farm in North Chideock, just 5 minutes drive from the Jurassic Coast. The tranquil surroundings make this place the perfect romantic getaway for couples and an amazing place to spend a holiday as a family. Various wildlife and lifestock are frequent visitors of the cabin including our resident heron. Enjoy a drink on the sun deck and watch the sunset over the fields from the hot tub.

Tistocker's log cabin near Dorset dog-friendly

Situated in rural South Somerset and close to Dorset, Tistocker's log cabin is a unique and peaceful retreat set in 2 acres with great views, starry skies and beautiful sunsets. This is a comfortable place to relax and escape, and an ideal base to explore famous local surroundings such as Lyme Regis and Glastonbury which are within easy driving distance. Lots of great dog walking areas and amazing wildlife. Fantastic village pub within walking distance. Please note we allow up to 2 dogs only.

Branscombe Chalet on the Beach

It has a unique position right on the beach on a raised elevation, throw open the balcony doors and you are looking out onto the ever changing sea and stunning coastline which is a World Heritage site and area of outstanding natural beauty. Two fine pubs supplying excellent food and locally brewed ales in the village and amazing cliff path walks East or West. Now a bookable sauna on the beach and free parking can be arranged

The Hyde

Nestled in the countryside near Wareham,The Hyde is a charming, self-contained cabin perfect for two. It boasts a cozy interior with flexible sleeping options. The location offers easy access to local attractions including Arne RSPB, Corfe Castle,Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. A short walk away is the quaint market town of Wareham, with scenic riverside walks,pubs and restaurants. With its blend of natural beauty, historical sites, and cozy accommodation, The Hyde provides an idyllic getaway.

Pear Tree Cabin is located in the quiet and peaceful hamlet of Ham in Somerset, sitting in the grounds of a seventeenth century thatched cottage on a quiet country lane surrounded by beautiful countryside. Relax in the hot tub spa after a busy day or share a drink on the tree deck built into a 400 year old Oak tree. Cook in a fully equipped kitchen or enjoy the rain whilst sat in a rocking chair. Snooze in a hammock and then relax in front of a film before heading to a comfy king size bed.

Cosy cabin, parking, stunning seaviews, Lyme Regis

Come and enjoy glorious sea and country views. We are in a quiet corner of Lyme Regis, a scenic mile’s walk from the beach. The cabin has parking and is a 5 minute drive to beach. It is an easy walk down with sea views then an uphill walk back. Lyme is hilly with glorious vistas. It’s a good spot for walkers - near the coastal path plus near a footpath that takes you either inland into Uplyme’s country walks or via the picturesque River Lim for a meandering longer walk to Lyme.

Porthole Log Cabin, Somerset Sea View

Relax in this unique log cabin, with off road parking and all the facilities to make your stay a delight. Amongst the trees, the cabin is in earshot of the seashore with views from inside and outside of the ever-changing tides and hills beyond. Porthole Log Cabin has a king-sized bed with en-suite bathroom, complete with a roll top bath and a separate walk-in shower. Outside, the large elevated decking area has three separate seating areas to enjoy the ambience of the peaceful setting.

After a day hiking or on the beach come home to your delightful retreat and relax in the comfortable dining/living area before retiring to a cozy bed with ensuite bathroom.

Jurassic coast Glamping, West Dorset

The Cabin is privately located in Seatown a small hamlet under Golden Cap, the highest cliff on the south coast and next to the SW Coast Path, 200m from the sea and world heritage Jurassic Coast, think chaby chic. shepherds hut without wheels and cheeper. Cabin is has everything you will need including a spare camp bed and bbq. View Lyme bay, sunset and sea while dinning or just with a drink, in the Anchor inn beer garden on the cliff. Dogs welcome.
