Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

A brand new 400 square foot tiny cabin that sleeps 2 adults. Located less than 2 miles from downtown Boone NC as well as the campus of Appalachian State University. Enjoy the wonderful local breweries, restaurants and locally owned businesses/ shops while you are here. We are also within walking distance to an AppalCART stop for hassle free game day parking. Or just enjoy peaceful moments on the front porch of this tiny home where you’ll find it hard to believe you are so close to town!

The hot tub with the view of the river & the firepit with wood furnished is a great way to spend the day outdoors… hiking, Fly fishing, tubing , kayaking or just relaxing watching for wildlife that happens by is a great way to spend the day. Adventure awaits at Big Valley. Newly constructed timber framed style log home/ cabin. Situated on 108 acres. We invite guest to explore the many walking/hiking trails. At least 7 ridgetop knolls with fantastic mountain views. We offer a fishing on site at the pond located just across the road from the cabin. So much to explore and do on this fantastic property. *We prefer you be at least 21 years of age before booking this property.

Joe’s Tree Retreat

Located at the top of a mountain in the Cherokee National Forest, this home is the perfect getaway from the city with no street lights or engine noise! 4/10 of a mile to Lake Watauga and the Appalachian Trail. >15 mins to zip lines, hiking & under an hour to the NC ski slopes. Route to home is on paved, all season roads. Driveway is steep, but parking available on the street also. NO FIRES ALLOWED ON THIS PROPERTY.
