Peaceful Setting in Mts.

Erwin is a small town with a movie theater, library, lots of fast food places and a few food trucks..there is a decent bbq place - the Hawg & Dawg, and is 20 minutes to Johnson City..It has been a good place for medical students and travel nurses to stay.. I am 45 minutes from Asheville, NC; Jonesborough and the International Storytelling Center is 20 miles away and Bristol is about 45 minutes away. The Fairy Tale cottage is located in Historic Jonesborough, the oldest town in Tennessee and the storytelling capital of the word. The Fairy Tale cottage is a Sears and Roebuck house kit built in the early 1920's.The private apartment,separate from the rest of the house, has one queen bed and a roll away twin bed is available as well. There is no shared space. A wonderful homemade breakfast is included in your amenities. Come rest and rejuvenate in this quaint home.

Our Country Home

Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with loft and two gas fireplaces. Home is located in Tri-Cities, north Johnson City. Close to Bristol Motor Speedway, Tri-Cities Airport, Universities, and the Great Smokey Mountains. Sleeps up to eight people, with a king, 2 queen, pullout sofa, daybed, and futon. Home is very clean and is fully equipped with all the luxuries of home. Internet is provided. Breakfast items are included. No smoking, no parties, and no pets.

I have had Appalachian Trail hikers stay, travel nurses, vacationers, people needing space for a night, and med students doing 3 month rotations at nearby hospitals. I have really enjoyed meeting my guests and some I am still in touch with. Thank you for considering my space!

Comfortable single bed, large closet, ample desk space in medium sized room upstairs in large home. Common areas (kitchen, living/tv room, dining room) are downstairs. If you stay a week or less, breakfast items are available..otherwise you are on your own!!!
