Nestled at the head of Pigeon Hill Bay, our cottage is surrounded by 20 acres of fields, marshland, private walking paths, and a private pebble beach on the ocean with views of the Atlantic. Acadia National Park is nearby (1 hour plus) or take the ferry (20 minutes away) to BarHarbor. Acadia Park Schoodic Point is a must see (20 minutes). Enjoy our kayaks, our recommended day trips, blueberry picking, visiting white-tailed deer. For a full week stay we serve a lobster shore dinner for two.

All the beauty of Acadia in your own wooded corner of Maine’s Bold Coast, this property is truly medicine for the mind. Acres of forest carpeted by soft moss surround the home and a crystal clear brook meanders through on its way to a small waterfall on the cliff at the beach. With 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and enough beds to sleep 6 adults comfortably, this classic Maine home features a spiral staircase and wall to wall windows on the first floor providing gorgeous panoramic views of the ocean.

The Cottage

A rustic cottage in the middle of Darthia Farm. The farm sits along the shore of West Bay and a short trail brings you from the cottage to the salt water. We grow organic mixed veggies and fruit, raise sheep, ducks, chickens, pigs, and work with Haflinger horses. Our farm store that is open everyday except Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The property is 15 minutes away from the Schoodic Section of Acadia and is surronded is by countless hiking trails and access to fresh and salt water.

Lakeside Cottage on Gardner Lake

This cozy lakefront cottage is located on Gardner’s Lake in Whiting, Maine. The perfect place to relax during your vacation. Enjoy beautiful sunrises, fishing, swimming, and relaxing in the hammock. The cottage has a queen bed and two twin bedrooms in the lofts. 1 dog (at discretion of owner) is welcome at an additional $10.00 per night. Hosts live in the cottage next door and are available to answer any questions.
