This "farmhouse" style cottage is typical of homestead homes in the area. This is a modest historic home that began as a school house. Kadoka is a safe, quiet ranching community on the edge of the Badlands and I90. You will be 20 miles from the entrance to the Badlands National Park, 35 miles from Wall drug and 90 Miles from the Black Hills & Rapid City. This is a small community ( pop700 ). Late in the day or weekends can be very sleepy, limited amenities, but no traffic! Safe for solo.

This is Josh and Christie's basement studio apartment. There is a separate entrance that you have to yourself. We are just a 5-min walk from downtown, so you can easily walk to dinner, tour downtown, and check out Rapid City. Sitting high above Mt Rushmore Road, light from 3 windows makes you feel above ground. Our back patio is nice for relaxing, and our location is convenient. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The tiny house is not an actual tiny house, a one bedroom with 1 queen bed, bathroom, kitchen/living room. Lazy boy reclining love seat, and a lazy boy recliner (very comfortable) for watching a movie in front of a faux fireplace. The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. The microwave is air fryer/microwave. Enjoy your evening/morning sitting on the covered porch with your favorite beverage.

The Rock and Block house

This is a Great Little House with Rustic yet Modern Charm, Beautiful View of the Cheyenne River Breaks. Two very comfy king sized beds. Wasta is a "very" small town, a gas station, a fabulous military museum and a bar. You can take in the Badlands on your way, you might drop down through Interior, S.D. and drive through the Badlands then come out just south of Wall. We are a rural community so eating out is limited to subway and gas station food. Please keep this in mind as you travel!
