Timberwood Tiny Home is a place to rest your head & heart in Efland, North Carolina. The peaceful retreat is down a country road approximately 10-minutes from downtown Hillsborough. The 200 square foot tiny home is on a private corner of 8-acres shared with our main house. It features Scandinavian-style details, two beds, a spacious porch, abundant natural light, a wood-fired hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and more. There are features of the home that may make it unsuitable for children.

Please note this rental lives in owner's back yard, accessible by driveway. We've built this place so that you can optimize your stay. Cook a meal in the fully equipped kitchen. This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Enjoy your time in this newly constructed, beautifully furnished, fully stocked, not so tiny, tiny home. Nestled in between the Mordecai and Historic Oakwood neighborhoods, this property is in a peaceful neighborhood close to everything in Raleigh. From the property you can walk to the Oakwood dog park or Raleigh's best coffee shop (the Optimist) OR take a quick Uber to Person St, S Glenwood or your favorite downtown location.

Rustic Cabin on a Working Farm in Durham

Come get away from it all—while conveniently close to everything—at Laurel Branch Gardens, a 12-acre farm that uses organic growing practices. About 100 yards from the farm house, the cabin is a renovated tobacco barn with a sleeping loft, full kitchen, bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet), and living area. Meet the pigs and chickens. Lay in the hammock. Listen to bird calls. During June and July u-pick blueberries will be available for harvest for $3.50/lbs.

Set in the country for a Peaceful setting where you can hear the birds sing and see our beautiful flowers and enjoy sitting on the front porch and relaxing. We are set up as a Bed & Breakfast called Antler & Oak in Franklin County just north of Raleigh and East of Wake Forest. The place is 100 years old, renovated the front portion for use to accommodate guests. You have full access to the space including a full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms & 2 1/2 baths.

No locals please! We prefer guests who are tourists, visiting relatives, or here on business. No pets or service animals.
