The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

After a day of hiking the local trails or floating the Buffalo National River relax in the spa overlooking the treetops taking in your surroundings. At the end of your day enjoy a drink by the firepit while gazing up at the stars or by relaxing in the dome while looking out at the view. Your Dome away from home awaits!

The Highland Hideaway (with Highland cows!)

The Highland Hideaway is a perfect place for the whole family to relax and enjoy. Four of the cutest fuzzy cows live here! A wet-weather creek is just behind the house, with a rock bluff and fire pit. There is a foos ball table and massage chair for your enjoyment after a day of hiking. The Hideaway is located 3 miles from Carver Landing. You'll be within easy access to SO MANY gorgeous places, including the national park. There is a second home on the property that can also be booked.

Welcome to our secluded, off-grid, little piece of paradise in Boxley Valley. Our cabin runs solely off what the earth provides using solar power and rainwater collection, so conservation of the resources is a must while staying with us. The cabin was built on a bluff line overlooking Cave Mountain, offers stunning views, great for bird watching or just being immersed in nature. Get away and unwind from it all at our private little cabin tucked away off the beaten path on 80 acres of wooded serenity in the Ozark mountains. My husband and I have enjoyed this cozy, peaceful cabin for several years until we built our new cabin home next door. We absolutely love this place and confident you will too! We are off Hwy 327 about 3/4 mile down a gravel road. 4x4 or all wheel only to prevent spinning uphill. The cabin is 8 miles from Jasper and 2 miles from Parthenon.
