A newly, and tastefully, renovated holiday home raised above the banks of with the Gartempe River. Offering all the home comforts in a 2 story gite, with stunning river views and the large private deck. The property offers direct river access, and a river front fire pit. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Located just 5 minutes from the pretty local village with all essential amenities, and 20 minutes from the lively city of Bellac. Perfect for families, friends, and solo travelers.

Old water mill, built in 1850. Many of the original features of the mill have been left & been used to create a place of charm & character. Situated on a twelve acre lake, within a listed & protected zone by Natura 2000. You can eat your breakfast on the terrace next to the lake, in a very beautiful & tranquil setting. The only noise here comes from the birds, wildlife & the sheep in the surrounding fields. Owner lives on site in adjacent farm house. Many local bars & excellent restaurants.

La Maison Mignonne is renovated stone cottage, situated in a quiet hamlet in the Haute-Vienne region of South West France. It has been sympathetically restored, combining traditional character with contemporary comfort. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two singles), bathroom (with bath and shower), and open plan lounge-kitchen downstairs. All mod cons are provided: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, wood-burning stove, TV.

A walk can be enjoyed from the cottage, along a path along the Vienne River. You can reach Chauvigny on foot or by bike along the trails. There are a few chickens on the grounds. It has an open plan kitchen diner with lounge area, including three seater reclining sofa and chair, oak dining table with 4 chairs, oak sideboard, satellite TV - French and English , unlimited wi-fi, electric radiator and fire. Everything you need is in the kitchen, tea, coffee, utensils, etc. Sheets and towels are included.
