This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. This newly renovated house was originally built in the 1940s and offers a stunning view of the village of Sørvágur and a terrace overlooking Tindhólmur and Mykines. It has three bedrooms, one small bathroom, and a combined kitchen and living room. It is located in a private and quiet area yet close to scenic areas such as Gásadalur, Bøur, Bøsdalafossur and Fjallavatn. Supermarket and public transportation are within walking distance. 2 km from the airport 1 km from the ferry to Mykines.

Apartment with great view

This brandnew apartement is apprx 40m2, and consist of an entrance hall, bedroom with a double bed, batroom with shower, a combined kitchen and livingroom. The apartment is located in Sørvágur, with a great wiev over Sørvágsfjord and the Island og Mykines. It is located just 2 min drive from the airport, and a few minutes drive to Gásadalur, Múlafoss, Sørvágsvatn, Trælanýpa, and the ferry to Mykines, and boattrips are just a few minutes away. There are good parking conditions.

Tranquil Accommodation

A stone and wooden house with turfroof situated on a hillside. A very quiet place with only sheep, birds and green grass as far as the eye can see. Right infront of the house is the Northatlantic ocean. There are no neighbors. Ideal for someone looking for a quiet tranquil accommodation. The house was built in 2010 with an old traditional Faroese style. It has 1 bedrooms, a toilet, kitchen and a living room, all with a fantastic view.

Turf cottage by famous Múlafossur waterfall

Spógvi Cottage is one of the of the Múlafossur Cottages located in the village Gásadalur on the Faroe Islands. Located in the valley, just a ten minute walk from the famous Múlafossur waterfall, you will always be surrounded by breath-taking nature, birds and wildlife. It is only 15mins away from the airport and 1h from the capitol, making it easy to explore and enjoy all that the Faroe Islands have to offer.

Cosy cottage by the sea

You can find our cosy cottage in our backyard just by the sea. Here you can relax and enjoy the quiet neighborhood and beautiful surroundings. The cottage is suitable for a couple or two persons. Within a walking distance, there is a café/bar, tourist center, sagamuseum, souvenirshop, restaurant, birdcliff sightseeing, sea angling trips and a grocery store. 500 m to the bus connection to Tórshavn.

Nicolina’s apartment

Lejligheden er renoveret og bliver opvarmet med Grøn Energi (luft til vand) og har en meget god udsigt, med mulighed at bruge en stor terasse, der man har udsigt til fire øer, lejligheden ligger centralt imellem lufthavnen ogThorshavn, har god gåafstand til Trælanýpa og Trøllkonufingur. Gásadalur/Múlafossur ligger på øen og ruteforbindelse til Mýkines. Der er gode muligheder for parkering.

Løðupakkhúsið - Historical Warehouse - Mid Floor

Enjoy a stay steeped in history in a renovated 100-year-old Faroese warehouse on the water’s edge in the local harbour. Fully renovated in 2019, Løðupakkhúsið features all modern amenities while preserving the traditional features of the house with original exposed beams, neutral tones and wooden flooring. The house is fully heated from a local renewable energy source - the sea water.

Guest loft in Søvágur near airport

Our Guest loft with private entrance is located in the city center of Sørvágur and is the perfect base for exploring all the fantastic attractions that Vágar has to offer. You are only a 10 minute walk away from the ferry to Mykines, and about a 10 minute drive to Gásadalur. The airport is a 5 minute drive away and the local grocerystore is your neighbor.

Jon's Apartment

Small Studio-apartment located in Miðvágur. The apartment is located in a quiet enviroment, around 300 meter walk to grocery-store, resturant and a gas-station. It takes around 45 minutes to hike to Trælanípa and Bøsdalafossur from the apartment. And around 15 minutes drive to Gásadalur and the ferry to Mykines and 10 minutes drive to the airport.
