Our houses are situated right in the heart of Bunratty Village just a short walk to the local pubs and restaurants. Bunratty is also an ideal location for touring the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Aillwee Caves, King Johns Castle, the Hunt Museum, to name but a few. You can enjoy the Medieval Banquets held in the Bunratty Castle for a great evening of food and entertainment.

The River Cottage.

This cottage has a double bedroom with a super king bed, a single bedroom, a large double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and sitting room with TV, dining area and two sofa beds. It is surrounded by parkland on the banks of the Shannon River and stands next to St Patrick's, the former parish church. The cottage has central heating, a shower room, toilet, a TV and broadband. It also has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas cooker, coffee machine, kettles, a washing machine and a fridge freezer.

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
