Haycroft Lodge Self Catering House.

Haycroft lodge is a big self catering house situated on the banks of a tranquil lake with magnificent views of Bamboo Mountain. It is the perfect getaway for big groups of 10 to 16 people. The bedrooms all open up into an internal courtyard which joins onto a large lounge and dining area. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for catering for a large group. Efficiently designed 8 sleeper lakeside lodge with generous volumes. Downstairs: Open plan living area with closed combustion fireplace and smart TV. A well equipped contemporary kitchen with gas top stove, electric oven and dishwasher. 2 x twin/double bedrooms share a full bathroom. Upstairs: A leisure lounge/studio with balconies overlooking the lake on one side and the mountains on the other. 2 x twin/double EN-SUITE bedrooms with mountain AND lake views enjoyed from Juliet balconies.

Gr8treks- StayCay, self catering unit

If you looking for a home away from home, welcome to Gr8treks. We are a small family on a big farm and do everything ourselves. You can expect to find us out in the gardens on most days. Help is welcome from fellow gardeners who need some green therapy. We do not have refuse services so encourage recycling. Water is also very precious to us so please me mindful not to waste water and electricity. This is my family home and we like our guests to feel as though they are at home too.

Umvuleni farm

Umvuleni farm is situated approx. 15 kms from the Drak gardens turnoff. Consists of a main house and smaller outbuilding. The main house consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open plan living area. The smaller outbuilding has 2 rooms and a single bathroom. Large open lawns allow kids to ride bikes and run to their hearts content. For those keen anglers the dam is stocked and waiting for your first cast. The firepit will allow you to keep warm whilst enjoying the great outdoors.

Two Springs Cottage

The cottage is in the garden next to our family home with a security fence, on a working sheep and cattle farm. The space is well decorated, spacious, neat and clean. It gets wonderful afternoon sun making it light and airy. The cottage has all the necessary amenities for a very comfortable stay. We are situated outside of Swartberg, halfway between Underberg and Kokstad. Located conveniently right off the R617 making it easily accessible with minimal gravel road. Rates are per person.

Restaurants include Lake Eland, Leopard rock, The Gorge Hotel and Spa and The Gorgez View, among many others. Beautiful scenery and farm to go walking, running, cycling, and fishing. Dog friendly on request. Please note we approx. 2km on a district farm road.

Lake Villa

A tranquil experience on our beautiful farm situated in the Southern Drakensberg, KZN. Tastefully decorated and includes a Deli (offers breakfast, lunch & dinner) situated in full view of a beautiful dam and hillside country. The Villa is not pet friendly. Farm activities: Hiking trails, picnics (on request), outside hot tub (book 1 day in advance), milking cows, star gazing, fishing, bird watching and horse riding (book 2 days in advance).

DanThai Farm, Fly Fishing, tubing

If you looking to break free from city life, Dan Thai farm is the perfect place to go for the whole family. The farm is about 20 minutes from Underburg. This self-catering farm house is peaceful and you surrounded by mountains and the well known Umzimkulu River. So much to do for the whole family. Amazing trout fishing, tubing down the river, birdwatching, long walks and so much more.

The Grange Cottage

The Grange Cottage situated on a working cattle and sheep farm. The 2 bedroom open plan cottage is stylfully decorated. Lovely open garden as well as braai area. Guests are welcome to explore the farm and join farm drives to experience farming activities first hand. Guests are also welcome to help themselves to the organic veggie garden.

Gypsy Rose Cabin

Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique cabin set on a farm on the R617 between Underberg and Swartberg. Conveniently close to the R617 road for overnight stop, so sound of traffic is audible. Beautiful farm dam just a short walk from the Cabin.

Silverstreams Lodge

Welcome to the lookout lodge, we have a beautiful 10 sleeper cabin that over looks the Oribi Gorge. We are surrounded by some farms as well as a game enclosure. We would love to have everyone from different walks of life for an amazing getaway.
