A slice of paradise on the banks of the Nile. This is our family home - when we are away we invite you to enjoy a sample of our idyllic lifestyle. The house is self catered with a full maid/cook service. You will have sole use of the house with no other guests. We also have a guest cottage on the property which sleeps 5 and can be booked separately. The house is 20kms outside of Jinja with views over the Nile, so you can sit by the pool and watch the best rapids in the world.

Lake Kerere Cottage

Enjoy this stunning location, with incredible views over Lake Kerere and Kibale National Park, with the Rwenzoris Mountains as your other view. There are 2 full time staff to help with washing dishes and cleaning. The cottage is situated on 27 acres of private land with 800 meters of lawn on the crater lake rim - all to yourself. It is a 45 minute drive to the chimp tracking starting point. It’s a great spot to go for walks, runs, bike rides and swim in the crater lakes.

We are a short drive into Jinja town and a short boat ride to go kayak or stand up paddle board the Nile. Der perfekte Ort für Freiwillige und Urlauber, die eine Organisation unterstützen wollen (auch gerne für längere Zeit). Das Haus ist Teil der Community Organisation Kuza Omuto und einer lokalen Schule. Unsere Gäste erleben also das wahre Dorfleben Westugandas .
