Minutes’ drive from Orford, and less than two hours’ drive to Freycinet National Park, with plenty of beautiful scenery and wineries along the way.

Tawny is a custom built Tiny House, whose name is inspired by the elusive Tawny Frogmouth who live in the area. With luxury bedding and facilities, an outdoor bath and stunning location overlooking Spring Bay, Tawny offers a tranquil, intimate space to relax and unwind from the everyday. A short drive to a choice of amazing beaches and short walks; Maria Island and local eateries. You can relax in the boat shed by day and in the evening, gaze at the stars by the warmth of the fire pit.

Franklin Cottage

Family friendly accommodation located 5-minutes' walk to the Triabunna waterfront, wharf and shopping precinct. A great place to stay if you are visiting Maria Island, Port Arthur, Richmond, Hobart, Swansea, Coles Bay, Freycinet or Bicheno which are able to be done as day trips. A very relaxing, comfortable, private and quiet home for one person or groups up to six. Recently refurbished with a coastal/country vibe. Great outdoor areas and cottage garden. Rostrevor Pickers Cottage

Sandra & Ricky are pleased to be hosting Rostrevor Pickers Cottage located just 3 minutes from the Maria Island Ferry. Stroll around the historical Rostrevor farm which was once one of the largest orchards in the southern hemisphere and is now a family run fine wool and hereford cattle farm with many original buildings on site. This lovingly restored farm shed turned contemporary cottage is nestled in the shade of a centuries old oak tree, perfect for taking in the country quiet.

Orford Beach Bungalow

The Orford Beach Bungalow is a charming holiday house located in Orford, an easy 1 hour drive from Hobart and 5 minute walk to the beach. The local playground, supermarket and cafes are a pleasant 10 minute walk away. Orford is the gateway to the sunny East Coast of Tasmania. Day trips can be made to Swansea, Coles Bay and Bicheno, enjoying the spectacular scenery and wineries along the way. A ferry to Maria Island can be found in Triabunna, a quick 10 minute drive from Orford.
