Bestimmt einer der wunderschoensten Plaetze in ganz Irland, ist hier oben im Wohnzimmer zu sitzen und den Wellen, Booten und blinkendem Leuchtturm zuzusehen. Hier koennen auch Eltern entspannen, waehrend sie beruhigt ihre Kinder am Strand spielen shen koennen. An Regentagen und im Winter, wenn es stuermt und die Brandung gegen die Strandmauer und den Leuchtturm bricht, ist es fast noch schoener!

It comfortably sleeps 9 and is perfectly suited for families. It's less than a couple of minutes drive from the local swimming pool with kids smaller pool and gym facilities etc. As well as a hairdressers, café, large super market with fast food options and a chemist on our doorstep.

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.
