Our Lake house is located on Lake Chatuge in a quite secluded neighborhood in the beautiful North Georgia mountain town of Hiawassee. We are on the lake with an accessible deep water dock. This house offers lots of cozy indoor and outdoor space with plenty of seating, including covered seating areas off of each king room, a large open deck, a lower deck, fire pit, and covered patio next to water. Gathering Moss Cottage is a wonderful family getaway or 2 to 3 couples retreat on Lake Burton. 30 minutes to Helen and half the price! Great views from the screened porch while reading a book or watching the kids play in the lake. Make some great memories at this fantastic cottage. New firepit is in just off the steps leading to the lake. Kayak's are available on site as well as pontoon boat rental from your host delivered to the dock, no pu or drop off.
