Sage Cottage is located in the beautiful Pottawatomie County in our own Oaklore Forest. The cottage sleeps two on our queen size bed, Has a mini-kitchen and 3-piece bathroom with stand-up shower. The kitchen is equipped with a small bar sink, double hot plate, toaster, microwave, coffee pot, kuerig, toaster oven, small fridge and cooking essentials. Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

My cabin is a hidden gem in Urbandale, a neighborhood only 15 minutes from downtown that's filled with unique architecture, old trees, and multicultural flavor. Crafted from pine felled and hand-planed in Boone, NC, the cabin has a wonderful smell and unique aesthetic. It's like a woodcutter's home deep in the woods, yet sits safely in my verdant backyard.
