While located in a country setting, you are still close to Downtown Savanna, Mississippi River, & Palisades State Park. This is a perfect retreat for a blend of tranquility and rustic charm.

Westview Retreat - Home in Thomson, IL

This home is located on the Mississippi River and has an open floor plan with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. It was once an earth home, which gives the home a cozy, cottage type feeling. The waterfront side of the home has floor to ceiling windows (with blinds) to maximize the view. Please note: our interior and exterior stairs are steep and because of the age and design of our home, we are not ADA accessible. Please be careful and watch your step! Entry is through the garage. Free parking is on site.

The excitement of camping with all the comforts! Outdoor grilling area with picnic table, queen size bed in the loft, 2 recliners & TV/dvd, AC/heat, sink, microwave & mini fridge. Kitchen service for 2, basic cooking essentials, towels & bedding. Well kept private port-a-john outside cabin & outdoor shower is close by at north end of store (no toilet inside cabin) Bring bikes to ride the “Great River Trail”. Camp store & kayak/canoe rentals (through Oct 1st) on site! No pets No smoking please.

The River Lodge at Wide River Winery is a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-full-bathroom house with a spectacular view of the Mississippi River just north of Clinton, Iowa (across from Fulton & Savanna). Guests are invited to the winery to sample our award winning wines. The Bluff Trail has stunning river views - a hiker's dream. Guests are welcome to tour the vineyard and winery to see where it all happens. Dogs are invited to stay (for a fee). Please share the number of guests.
