We LOVE Lockeland - the chef has been nominated for James Beard award a handful of times. Call for reservations or be like us: chance it for two seats at the bar. Great cocktail and wine/whiskey list - can't go wrong with anything on the menu (but our favorites are the empanadas, pork + shrimp dumplings and "lobstah" tacos).

I hear they also have breakfast sandwiches in the morning, but haven't had the pleasure of trying it yet.

Aldi is a small, "not-fancy" grocery store that is a neighborhood favorite of ours. You'll find basic produce, dairy, meat and snacks. The secret has gotten out! They do have "rules:"
-Bring your own bags (they have paper + plastic there you can purchase)
-Bring a quarter to put in the cart to take inside (as a deposit - you'll get it back)
-They used to only take debit card, but I believe they'll accept credit now
