Open for lunch & dinner. Great Mediterranean menu. Opt for sitting upstairs. Take out pizza always a good choice. They also have vegan options. Credit Card accepted.

We love and visit Taverna multiple times during our stays. The pasta is fresh and the sauce is perfect! Also fresh fish, seafood and steaks. Well made drinks, friendly staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend. Be aware, this restaurant is upstairs and there is no elevator.

Taverna is a warm and inviting neighborhood restaurant that offers a truly Italian experience without having to leave Texas. The Italian chefs strive to create the perfect menu using seasonal ingredients for their surprising entrees; every day they present a variety of northern Italian delights from simple comforts such as pan seared sea bass to delicate pasta and fabulous risotto. Risotto is indeed their flagship dish. They only use Carnaroli rice – the “king of the rice”; thanks to its particular characteristics and firm texture the Carnaroli grain maintains its shape during the slow cooking required for a perfect and creamy risotto.

Traverna is a warm & inviting neighborhood restaurant serving fresh caught seafood, a refreshing cocktail or the best Italian food including pizza from the wood burning oven. Highly recommend the Tortino Al Cioccolato, chocolate cake with warm chocolate center served with vanilla gelato. They usually have live entertainment on Saturday nights which makes it even a better choice for dinner.
