It is a perfect location if you want to enjoy the countryside and visit some of the beautiful places in north Iceland, like: Lake Myvatn (30 km away), Húsavík (27 km away), Goðafoss waterfall (17 km away) and Dettifoss waterfall (68 km away). Small and lovely cottage(size, 50 m2) located in Aðaldalur, just next to Húsavík airport. The cottage is surrounded with beautiful nature, quiet environment, trees and lava field. From the cottage there are 10 km to the town Húsavík (Whale watching center), 40 km to lake Mývatn, 35 km to the waterfall Goðafoss, 80 km to the waterfall Dettifoss and 70 km to Ásbyrgi.
