Little Round Cabin on the Pine 2 - The "Pine Cone"

The 250 square foot "Pine Cone" is a one room, round yurt-style cabin located on our 8 acre property. We border the Pine River in Richland County, center of the beautiful Driftless region of southwest Wisconsin. Perfect for a quiet, nature-based retreat, we are less than four hours drive from Chicago, Milwaukee, and the Twin Cities. Off Grid Yurt Glamping on Permaculture Homestead

Enjoy an elevated camping experience in our yurt, located on our 20 acre permaculture farm! This is a "glamping" experience, with a private outhouse and outdoor shower. The yurt is located in the heart of the Southwest Michigan wine trail and just 15 minutes to Lake Michigan beaches! Take a tour with Karl to meet our sheep, horses, rabbits, and chickens. Cook a simple meal in the yurt using the indoor propane burner or outdoor grill, then finish off the evening by relaxing around the fire pit.

Spend a starry night in the country with the comfort of a soft bed, a wood stove, and plenty of space both indoors and out. Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

The Perry Pines Yurt is a 4-season yurt on Perry Lake less than 2 miles from Cable. With quick access to CAMBA mountain bike trails (4 miles to the North End Trailhead), the Birkie Start Area (5 miles), and on an ATV route, it's a great basecamp for your outdoor activities. Sit on the deck and listen to the loons in the summer or warm up next to the woodstove or in the barrel sauna in the winter. Enjoy a full kitchen, bathroom w/shower, lake views, and a fun little unique cabin option!

Located 25 minutes north of Marquette, our yurt is simple and rustic without electricity and a woodstove is the only heat source. We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. We encourage and cater to silent-sport type of guests as we have kind and close neighbors on all sides. Located in a separate part of the park for privacy, a short walk to the 2 private restrooms and showers reserved for our yurt guests only is required. We are conveniently located near downtown St Ignace, giving guests local access to the city and everything it has to offer while feeling miles away.
