Each site is convenated by QEII National Trust who describe Mahakirau "outstanding for it's ecology and wildlife value with brown kiwi, kaka, Hochsetetter's and Archey's frogs all present". This beautiful ocean view property is a couple of minutes walk to Kuaotunu Beach and Luke's Kitchen, a well known local restaurant. The house is nestled on 4.5 acres of stunning gardens and native bush. The house consists of a 4 bedroom dwelling on the ground floor with an additional 2 bedrooms and an extra bathroom/toilet upstairs. "Kahukura" has ample parking for boats. The boat ramp is 1 kilometre away.
