Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Wee Nook- a Hobbit Hole

Wee Nook is a 360 square foot living space with a full kitchen and bathroom. It is tucked underground in the middle of the woods. Please come enjoy the woods, farm animals, trails, pond and wide open space while you're here! As JRR Tolkien said: “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hold, and that means comfort.”

Sunrise Mountain Cabin

Welcome to Sunrise Mt. Cabin is located on top of the Cumberland Plateau with a great view of the valley check out our 2 other cabins Patriot's Retreat & Sunrise Mtn Treeshouse. The cabin has approximately 1400 square feet and is fully furnished with full kitchen and more. Hiking trails and fishing pond only a short walk away. Several major state parks with hikes within a few miles of the cabin. The cabin has fiber optic WiFi which is not shared. Pet cats not allowed; we are allergic.

Gray Creek Cabin

Unplug, unwind, and immerse yourself in nature at this private creekside cabin. Nestled deep in the woods and surrounded by trees and birdsong, this peaceful retreat is the perfect escape from everyday life—yet only 35 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Step outside and you’ll hear the gentle flow of the creek just steps away. Sip your morning coffee on the porch, soak in the hot tub under the stars, or simply enjoy the quiet serenity of the forest. A gated gravel driveway leads to our Off-Grid glamper situated on mountaintop acreage bordering Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cherokee National Forest. The treehouse features eco-friendly solar power, clean rain-collected heated shower & vented compost toilet. Rest from your adventures on comfy beds, cook meals in your covered outdoor kitchenette and dine al fresco in the trees, build a campfire in your private fire ring, and recharge your devices via the solar power station.

The Top-Rated Woodland Cottage at Mountain Shire (check out our IG @mountainshire) is located minutes from top attractions in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountain National Park. Enjoy 200 sqft of living space that includes loft with queen-sized bed, living room with sofa-bed and RokuTV, WiFi, kitchenette and bathroom with shower. Outdoor amenities include a private chiminea and shared bbq/grill, fire pit and patio/deck areas. Other tiny houses are on the property.

1 king bed, 1 queen fold-out couch, dedicated workspace. Take it easy at this tranquil and cozy getaway surrounded by a sheep meadow, just 2 miles from I-40. Fishing pond available upon request. We are located just 15 minutes from the charming small town of Cookeville, TN. We are also near beautiful natural attractions, such as waterfalls and lakes. Cookeville is centrally located between Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga.
