This is an old school 1 bedroom Bach with an amazing kitchen and living room centred round a cozy fireplace. Stay includes free unlimited Wifi with full kitchen and bathroom. The main reception is just 300m away for any help or local advise. The legendary Park Cafe is just down the road 100m.

Te Whare o Kea - A tiny house with a big heart!

Te Whare o Kea provides simple shelter for trampers, bikers and other nature lovers. The location also makes it perfect for a retreat. It is a non profit social enterprise and supports kea and kiwi conservation work. Opening in 2020, Te Whare o Kea is a Gold Kea Sponsor, and to date has donated over $20,000 to the Kea Conservation Trust. It also supports the monitoring of kea nest sites in the Cobb Valley and maintains a 17 trap trapline and trail camera behind Te Whare.
