Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

Perfect for a romantic getaway, this modern safari tent features a private spabath, large double bed, dining area, private bathroom, and balcony. Bed linens, towels, and free toiletries are provided. Heaters are available when needed.
