Our listed heritage cottage makes for a luxurious self-catering Karoo escape and is conveniently situated in the heart of the “horseshoe” area of Graaff-Reinet. It is fully air conditioned for those sweltering Karoo days and features a back patio which is a perfect place for a quiet and cosy barbeque. Although an ideal "lock and go" for a group of 4, if you're needing space for more family and friends, you have the option to book our neighbouring property, 54 Middle Street, which also sleeps 4.

La Maison Self-Catering Cottage

This spacious & beautifully furnished unit has a private entrance & covered porch. It is modern with an open plan living area. This unit offers full DSTV, Netflix & WiFi. Electric blankets are supplied for those extra cold winter nights. Kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, microwave & all other devices needed. Basic first morning supplies are provided. The bathroom contains a shower, basin & toilet. Guests have access to safe parking & braai facilities. Situated close to shops & restaurants.

There is air conditioning in every room which is essential in the Graaff-Reinet summer. We also have hot blankets on the beds to make you comfortable during the cold winters. Free Standing Cottages with private splash pool and bbq area. The large bedroom features a King size bed with en-suite shower. Enjoy self-catering facilities in the equipped kitchen leading onto the lounge area. Due to safety measures around pool, no children under 12 years are allowed. All safari arrangements must be booked exclusively through Hitgeheim. Outside safari operators are not permitted, as they do not meet the standard associated with our guest experience.

Charming Heritage Cottage

This historic townhouse is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The private courtyard is ideal for a braai (barbecue), or a quiet coffee. The house is child-friendly, and pets are welcome too. A gun-safe is provided, ideal for hunters. The stove is gas, so cooking during load-shedding is never a problem! As with many Graaff-Reinet houses, there is ONLY ON-STREET PARKING. There is also no TV.
