The village, Nagari Sungai Pinang, is situated on the west coast of the Indian Ocean, south of Padang, the capital city of West Sumatra, Indonesia. It is a renovated 1980s home redesigned by @Haus Studio, featuring bright, naturally ventilated rooms, a sea-facing main hall with folding doors, and a peaceful courtyard shared by the hall and two bedrooms.
