36 Alfred Street, Stromness - a charming 1800's, 4 star cottage, has its own private Bothy right on the sea, great views and a shared pier. It has one spacious romantic bedroom, with a very small bedroom leading off from it, with a bunk bed (two beds) suitable only for children in it. Like the other three Anderson's Harbour Cottages, each Cottage is equipped with everything including a Cook's Larder (30 + different coffees/teas/hot chocolate, cooking oils/herbs etc). Khyber Cottage on Khyber Pass dates back to the late 1800's, set in central Stromness conservation area. This quaint stone cottage with south facing garden is seconds from the cobbled streets with all its old town charm, shops, pubs and restaurants. Parking is close by, approximately 80m up the lane. Khyber Cottage has a sunlit sitting room above the bedroom and bathroom which are accessed by a unique spiral staircase. We can welcome one well behaved dog to the upstairs area of the cottage.

On the outskirts of the historic town of Stromness in the West Mainland of Orkney, this single-story barn conversion has one bedroom, an open-plan living/dining/kitchen space, and a bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. All on one level, the property is wheelchair accessible throughout. It has stunning views across Hoy Sound and out to the open Atlantic. Parking is available right outside, but if you visit without a car, regular buses from Stromness go to all areas of Orkney.
