The Walkers Rest Gated onto National Trust Forest

The walkers rest is a self contained 1 bedroom annexe attached to our family home. With it's own private entrance, garden and hot tub. There is direct access to The National Trust Wenlock Edge Forest, with breath taking views, miles of walking trails, bridle paths and cycle routes. Much Wenlock is a 2 min drive or a short walk through the forest to quaint shops and pubs. Shrewsbury, Iron bridge, Ludlow, Buildwas Abbey, Church Stretton, The Wrekin are some of the places within a short drive.

The cottage is only 2 miles from Much Wenlock and 5 miles from the world heritage site of Ironbridge where you'll find many museums as well as canoeing, rafting and fishing on the River Severn. We are also a short drive from the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. It's in a beautiful rural location yet close to independent shops, traditional pubs and restaurants. Its clean, modern and well equipped. The studio is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

This is a great location for lovers of both town and country. Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. We have good internet access and a smart TV.

Why not watch the sun go down from the comfort of the outdoor bath tub? And bring the dog along too, plenty of great walks for them and yourselves to enjoy.

There is an abundance of walks right from your doorstep, you're even lucky enough to have the Offas Dyke within a stones throw from the Cabin.

Self-Contained accommodation ne Shrewsbury Centre

Petit Blythe is self-contained and adjoins a charming cottage within a beautiful setting close to the River Severn. The ground floor features a sofa bed (additional fee for using sofa bed £15 per night) , TV and lounge area with a small dining table plus kitchenette. The upstairs bedroom has a double bed with ensuite shower room. Country walks are on the doorstep and it is an easy 20/25-minute​ stroll into town, passing Theatre Severn and many bars and restaurants.
