Unique living space attached to our covered riding arena. Approx 1500 sf area with plenty of parking in a very rural area close to hiking and swimming or rock climbing at Hanging Rock State Park, and Pilot Knob, as well as floating the Dan River or just relaxing watching the horses play in the paddock, enjoying roasting hot dogs or smores over the fire pit. Private property on our farm with many amenities, including Wi-Fi, full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, gym available. Very relaxing place!

We are five minutes from restaurants, a library, gift shop, gallery and Hanging Rock. There is plenty to explore in this quaint area, so your stay can be as relaxing or fun-filled as you’d like.

Just 15 minutes from Hanging Rock and Pilot Mountain State Parks, and 30 minutes from Winston-Salem, enjoy sunrise and sunset from our wrap-around porch, hot tub, or indoors. The open living space features floor-to-vaulted ceiling windows and wood-burning fireplaces. Accommodates 8-10 guests with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. New cleaning team. Cabin on Big Creek near Hanging Rock/Dan River

The Cabin on Big Creek is a unique spot, private, with singing water on three sides. The creek is wide, accessible, kid-friendly. Queen bed and double futon. Minutes from HRSP, paddling, mountain biking. To be clear: this is a hybrid between comfort and “glamping.” No WiFi, no cable, no TV. The hot & cold water sink and shower are outside(water shut off in hard freeze, so no shower then but water supplied indoors). The toilet is an outhouse. Bedding is provided, bring your own towels.

The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.

Foot Hill Farms II Hanging Rock

Unplug and reconnect in this private country home with oak, cedar and pine throughout. Enjoy a full modern kitchen, with open concept to living room. Main floor has two bedrooms and 1 bath with large shower. Downstairs is a pool table room, 3rd bedroom and full bath. Relax on wrap around porch with rockers and swing. Enjoy the fire pit, wood provided. Hang up the hammock and relax. 10 min. drive to Hanging Rock State Park and 20 mins. to Pilot Mtn. State Park.
