We get our unique name because we are located near the Jimmerson Lake Dam. Nestled in Nevada Mills. THIS IS NOT A LAKESIDE PROPERTY. We do NOT have a private boat slip. However, the public ramp is only one mile away! If you bring your own boat, the private parking area will accommodate it. The Airbnb is attached to our business Anchors Aweigh Pontoon Rentals which is located on the property. We areYour space will be private and comfortable. The backyard has ample space for parking in the 3 car driveway, a fire pit, grill, and a small back deck. Across the street is a Clear Lake conservation area with pet friendly walking trails! There is a nearby dog park, and an ice-cream shop down the street.

Long Lake Cottage is on a 10 mph lake that is a pretty peaceful spot to relax. Enjoy bonfires, kayaking, fishing, and grilling at our place. Long Lake is a part of the Pigeon River chain that you can kayak along through multiple lakes. Less than 10 minutes from Angola (Trine University, Pokagon State Park, groceries, etc.). We hope you enjoy your stay! We have a strict cancellation policy, but we will refund you 100% of your stay if you do need to cancel 14 days before your arrival.

This is a great escape for a carefree visit to the lake front. Spend time next to the water for fun waterplay, relaxing evenings on the deck or spending time with friends and family away from everyday life. There are kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy on our canal off main lake. You can park a boat on our dock, however pontoon boats are too big to fit through tunnel to main lake. Update: we are excited to offer a newly redone bathroom and kitchen!
