In between, spend the day on the lake in your private sandy cove with dock, fishing, hiking or relaxing. Three mile lake road for walking or biking. The area offers many hiking trails and Mt. Monadnock only 30 minutes away. Small convenience store offers basic amenities while Keene’s many shops and restaurants are only 15 minutes away.

The "Silk Purse" started life in the 60's as a 10x40 mobile home. Its placement next to Baker Brook offers a private view out of every window and easy vehicle access. The screened porch is a relaxing place to have coffee or cocktails. Extra windows add interior light in this shaded woodland setting, and a beautiful 12x14 addition with a skylight and a full wall of glass give an unobstructed, private view of the stream. 20 minutes to Brattleboro, 30 to Stratton, 25 to Mt. Snow, 40 to Magic Mt!

Close to Mount Snow, Lake Whitingham, Lake Raponda, and only 25 minutes to Brattleboro the adventures are endless! Get out of the city and visit the serenity and beauty of Southern Vermont- especially in Fall during “leaf peeping”. This is a camp-style cottage with rustic charm. Newly replaced flooring and a fresh coat of paint in both bedrooms upstairs. Snow tires are a MUST- Nov.-April

Cottage comes with the use of two kayak's, a canoe, two stand up paddle boards, hammock and outside fire place to roast s'mores. (Please do not use fireplace until dusk). Refrigerator & freezer, microwave, keurig, toaster, basic pots and pans, outside grill,a clean lake with swimming area. Tv/DVD player & DVD’s(no cable), WiFi. We supply towels,linens & beach towels. Friendly neighbors on either side of cottage. A perfect relaxing, unplugged weekend getaway.

The deconstructed architecture leaves exposed the electrical conduit and copper plumbing pipes, making the cottage feel alive and organic.
