Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons

Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

Our beautifully fitted, spacious yurt with its own wood-fired hot tub is perfect for a romantic rural getaway with a Mongolian twist. Nestled on the fringes of mature woodland on a small working farm, the yurt is totally secluded and has open views over the breathtaking Dulas Valley in rural Herefordshire. Hand built by myself & Granny Mongolia, the Yurt is a mix of traditional Mongolian design & bohemian chic. As you enter the yurt you will instantly notice a sense of calm & grounding, an ideal retreat from a hectic lifestyle. Surrounded by countryside, the yurt is home to many Mongolian artefacts gifted to me by Granny Mongolia. It features a charcoal bbq & stove. St Anne’s is a haven of rest and relaxation on Chalice Hill, 2 mins from Chalice Well and 10 mins walk from the town centre. The location is ideal for visiting local sites such as the Tor and The Abbey. Our yurt offers a cosy and romantic stay ideal for couples with a king sized bed plus and woodburning stove with private shower room and kitchen in a nearby cabin. The yurt is not suitable for children due to woodburning stove. The Yurt is self-catering; a continental breakfast is provided.

Idyllic, secluded yurt in the Cornish countryside

Come and stay in our idyllic yurt situated on a working sheep farm near the beautiful beaches of North Cornwall. Ideal for a romantic break or a family holiday the authentic, Mongolian yurt has a Super King size bed and a double futon, wool insulation and a wood burner. Beside the yurt is an ancient cob cottage housing a kitchen and shower room/wc. The yurt is set up for two adults, but can accommodate four people. Children stay for free, additional adults are charged a fee (see below).

Located in the middle of Laurie Lee’s setting for his book Cider with Rosie, this is a rustic camp tucked away at the very top of a 12-acre smallholding with picturesque views across this lovely Cotswolds valley. Situated in a little meadow of its own is the yurt, not overlooked by anyone. Outside is a covered camp kitchen with two-ring gas stove and sink, table and chairs, fire pit and bbq, compost loo, firebath, sauna, outdoor shower and sun loungers. NB Firewood is FREE
