Manor House Cottage is located in the small hamlet of Holme-On-Swale 7 miles from the market town of Thirsk which is known for its connection to James Herriott and within easy reach of North Yorkshires National Parks. Set within the grounds of the Manor House, It is a quirky upside down cottage with a well appointed modern kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor with sitting room upstairs, private garden with table and chairs. There are no other holiday cottages in the grounds.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful farm stay in our lodge with electric hot tub and views of the forest and animals. The lodge is open plan with full kitchen, relaxing room with dining area and double bedroom, lots of clothing storage and bathroom with shower. We are situated on a network of footpaths through the Yorkshire Dales so a perfect walking retreat ending your days in the hot tub. We are a quiet location with several people living on the farm. Loud, drunk guests will be vacated.

Enjoy the use of your private patio seating area with views over the owners garden and pond. A larger garden area and further seating is also available for guest use. Local good pub (15 mins walk). One well behaved dog is welcome.

Our Annex is a popular stop off for people walking the coast to coast. We are also very close to some great pubs and restaurants.

This pod has a comfortable kingsize bed and the option of adding the sofa bed for an additional 2 guests. The hot tub on the beautiful porcelain patio is powered by a heat source pump and boasts some powerful jets. The pod has a mini kitchen, electric heater, it’s own bathroom with a powerful shower, smart TV, Wi-Fi and inbuilt speaker system with Bluetooth.
