We prefer to host Pet Families. This is a well fenced, very private pet friendly cottage. Nestled in the lush green hills of Kalote, 5 mins walking distance to the lake and a beautiful stream that comes alive in the monsoons. Inside the cottage, there’s a large living space with kitchen, a bedroom and bathroom. A large lawn for pets. Kitchen is equipped with basic ingredients to cook. The Wooden Cottage at Kookal Eco Farms

Kookal is a beautiful and quaint drive away from Kodaikanal, the Princess of Hills, 15 kms after Poomparai. If you are able to overcome the temptation of stopping by at the charming spots that dot the route, you can cover this distance of 32 km in a little over an hour from Kodaikanal. It is a perfect destination for those on the lookout for offbeat places to stay. Our cottage is located in a 5 acre property, facing the Shola forests and has an excellent view of the Kookal lake.

Raintree Solace Dambulla

Free DROPS to Dambulla Temple (need to reserve in advance). Airport pickup can be arranged upon request for a fee. Additionally, we can reserve seats for you on buses to Kandy or Trincomalee at local rates. Our guests gets convenient pickup and drop-off services for Minneriya safari and hot air balloon rides directly from your cottage. Our kayaks are free to use in the lake(s). Local village walking trails and climbing the rock in front of us also can be arranged.
