You’ll be charmed by this adorable place to stay. We have created a self contained one bedroom unit as a luxurious bed and breakfast within our 17 th century farmhouse cottage. It boasts an inglenook fireplace and wood burner with an open plan living and dining area. There is a small kitchenette and a choice of continental breakfast is provided. The cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Ashcott overlooking the Quantock hills with beautiful views and has access to many country walks.

The coast is only a 20 minute drive away with lots of beaches to choose from and the city of Exeter also just 20 minutes by car. Perfect for guests who are looking for luxury accommodation with the comforts of home.

Situated in the Backdowns, A.O.N.B. In a rural quiet location. Dunkeswell Abbey ruins nearby. Lots of rural footpath walks nearby. Approx 30 minute drive Sidmouth and the south coast. Lyme Regis is approx 40 minutes drive away as is west Dorset and the Jurassic coast. Hemyock village and Dunkeswell village are a 5 minute drive away each with grocery supplies and a post office. Honiton town is approx 20 minute drive away. Nearest public house is Hemyock or Upottery, each a short distance away.

Visit medieval Dunster & castle by car or steam train. Recently refurbished with a modern rustic feel and wood burner. Please state number of guests when booking. Max. three adults, or two adults and two small children. Guests may bring one well behaved dog free of charge. Please send host a request before booking.

Your kitchen has a microwave, kettle and toaster (no oven or hob). There's a table in your kitchen to use for eating or as a workstation. Village pub serves food just 5 minutes walk. Chinese takeaway 5 mins walk. Handy for tourist resorts of Weston-super-Mare, Cheddar Gorge. Nearest sandy beach is 10 minutes in a car.

The Old Potting Shed, Staplegrove, Taunton

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in the beautiful picturesque village of Staplegrove. Nestled on the edge of the Quantock Hills, The Old Potting Shed is a self contained holiday let enjoying views of the surrounding gardens with pretty shrubs and our own pet chickens wandering around. There is a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities (please remember to bring your own milk). A wonderful array of pubs are just on the doorstep as well as a village shop (co-op).

Perfect for those who want a relaxing space to return to after exploring the area.

The Nest is a recently converted peaceful, luxurious and romantic barn conversion, suitable for 2 (plus 1) guests. Superb local pub with Italian restaurant just a three minute walk away! Exclusive use of private hot tub. Private garden and bbq area. Set in 12 acres of a grade 2 listed former rectory dating back to 1798. This unique place has a style all its own. The Coach House is a perfect getaway for romantic breaks or simply a place to relax and escape a busy schedule. Be it for work or pleasure, your stay will be one to remember, with secure parking, a garden view and the additional benefit of being walking distance to pubs and restaurants. The Coach House is also only a short drive to Montecute, The Chinnocks and Chiselborough, all of which are perfect for country walks and good pub meals.

Clapper Hay Annex

The Annex provides a completely self contained accommodation with it's own entrance and external keybox, enabling independent access. Fully refurbished self catering accommodation in a conservation area on the edge of Merriott village. Ideal for vacationing, users of the National Cycle path (30) or business users. The property is not suitable for pets. An 'exterior only' CCTV camera is fitted to the main house, to maintain the security on the driveway approach to the Annex.

Our annexe has been refurbished to provide a high-end environment, ideal for 2 adults to relax in. It is set in an area called the Allertons, a cluster of beautiful character villages. It is always a pleasure to stroll around. The pace is relaxed, the locals are very friendly and will direct you to the local pubs and shops if requested. The Mendip hills , Wells and Glastonbury are very near, and all offer so much for sight seekers.
