Two Skaneateles Homes on Property

We have two houses on our property that have been completely renovated. We offer WIFI, laundry, a full kitchen in both homes and private bathrooms for each bedroom. We have several large gathering spaces within the homes to make treasured memories in. We offer plenty of parking and a beautiful front porch. Our property is steps away from the Charlie Major Trail with a sweet playground and a walking path along the Skaneateles Creek that bring you right to The Last Shot and Skaneateles Brewery.

From here, you can walk to the Seward House Museum, the beautiful Seymour Library, the NYS Heritage Center, and the Harriet Tubman Home. A 5-minute walk to Wegmans grocery store, downtown shops, cafes, and great restaurants. Whether you're coming to enjoy the historic charm of Auburn, or using this as a base for exploring the Finger Lakes and all they have to offer, you won't be disappointed.

Spotless ranch 2 miles to village & beautiful yard

This house is about 2 miles from the village, lake, restaurants, bars and most wedding venues. Enjoy the beauty of Skaneateles and then return to your own oasis on nearly an acre of manicured landscape with a wonderful deck overlooking a pond. Make time to watch the sunset with a glass of wine or the sunrise with your morning coffee . Coffee bar included with snacks. In the wintertime enjoy the wood stove (wood is provided but if you need more the Byrne Dairy has some) and games.

Nestled in a grove of Norway spruce, your peaceful cabin getaway rests in the heart of the Finger Lakes. Built by a local carpenter (with help from his dog Indiana), the cabin has enough coziness and charm to make any stay special. Hike down to Mill Creek (on the property), grill up some burgers on the gas grill, or lounge in a hot tub beneath the stars. The cabin is 15 minutes to Ithaca / Cornell, has a living room with a Switch + BluRay + HBO, and has satellite wifi (30+ MBPS).

Quaint & cozy private lakefront cottage on East side of Skaneateles Lake. Gorgeous views! Magnificent sunsets!! key location! Short Boat ride or drive to village (2.9 mi) and all attractions. Cottage is on a 1 acre 185ft lake property shared with the owner. Dock for lake access. 2 kayaks and life jackets available to enjoy the lake. Water shoes a must as lake bottom is rocky. No children. No pets. There are 2 Friendly and Fluffy Australian Shepherds on the property.

Shopping, dining, boating, hiking, wineries and breweries are all close by, ready to enjoy, no matter the season!

Skaneateles Carriage House Easy Walk to Village

Enjoy a spacious stay just walking distance to the village and lake! Upstairs unit sleeps 6 (2 bedrooms/1 bath/pull out couch). If you’d like to add-on the bottom unit (not rented to other groups simultaneously) please let me know… it sleeps an additional 2 guests with private entrance, bath, kitchen, desk & queen bed. A stay at the 1850 Haines House on the Erie Canal

Cyclists: You can ride directly onto our property from the Erie Canal Trail (ECT)! Located minutes from NYS 31, this modern restoration of an authentic 1850 canal home has plenty to offer to the road-weary wanderer. Situated on just under an acre of land, this historical property is diagonal to 50' of frontage of the original Erie canal. Come see our cornice brackets, restored scrollwork and much more.
