Welcome to our townhouse in sunny Silves. Enjoy the sun on your rooftop or relax in the peace of a private garden with old stone walls and fruit trees. Explore a charming historic town on your doorstep or have a walk in the nearby hills. The beautiful coastline with beaches, cliffs and villages is only a short 15 kilometer drive to the South. (If this house is unavailable you may want to look at my other house which shares the same garden and is called garden-in-the-city)

The Old Pig – Garden Suite, Kitchen & Pool View

CASA BRAVA is an eco guest house set in an old farmhouse, 10 minutes from the historic center of Loulé and 20 minutes from the coast and Faro airport. Stay in the former pigsty, renovated in stone and transformed into a characterful suite with a fully equipped kitchen. The house hosts only three independent suites, nestled in nature. In 2026, breakfast is replaced by a gourmet welcome basket. Garden, natural pool and family atmosphere to slow down and breathe.

Set high on the hill in the historic town of Silves, just down the road from the Gothic Cathedral & Castle, is The Townhouse, a peaceful sanctuary from which to explore the town and surrounding area. The house looks out over the terracotta rooftops of the town that clings to the hillside, its cobbled streets tumbling down to the river valley. Street Parking is available close tot he house. This unique place has a style all its own.

Restored in 2019 using traditional methods combined with modern comfort. 80m2 plus 150m2 outside patio with a private swimming pool, a pergola and barbecue to enjoy the breakfast, lunches and dinners outdoors. Free WIFI and Cable TV. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms.
