The Cooter's Museum is just 2.4 miles from our cabin. Luray Caverns and Museum just 12 min - Shenandoah National Park is 20 min, G W National Forest is close by.

Our home is set on a hill on the edge of the small town of Broadway rated recently the safest town in the state of VA. Four mountain ranges are visible from our elevated property; it also borders a farm so you might observe cattle grazing. The Shenandoah Valley offers great gravel, road and MTB trails - and a vast network of hiking trails. Rosemary, a licensed aesthetician and licensed massage therapist, also offers spa services for a wonderfully restorative visit. Welcome to our peaceful space.

Take a walk on the trail, birdwatch, visit a neighboring vineyard, or chase sticks with your pup--- there are so many ways to unwind at La Casa del Bosque!

We encourage cooking in our great kitchen! Large bright LR/dining rm. 4 UVA degrees in family but we’re out sailing sometimes! ON-SITE PARKING. UVA & City bus 1 blck. 15 min walk to Hospital (Madison/14th). Slowly updating outside so may look a bit ruddy! No smokers/vapors (even outside); we have no pets and sorry but no pet rule.

Secluded chalet near the top of a mountain on 8 acres, just 70 minutes from downtown DC, 20 minutes to old town Front Royal, close enough to get Instacart from groceries, Costco and Target, and private enough to enjoy your sunset view from the deck every night and to not see any other homes! The home is at the end of a long gravel road and parking in a small cul-de-sac. Dogs are allowed for a $75 fee per stay for the 1st, $25 after, up to 3 dogs max, extra fees charged after reservation.
