Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

Discover the untouched surroundings of the northern Portuguese countryside. Our "quinta" is located in a non-touristic area with lots of possibilities for tracking and hiking. It’s perfect for discovering the local atmosphere of authentic villages and surrounding areas. Despite our rural location, basic services such as a good restaurant and a mini market are within walking distance. The country house has 3 guest facilities (cottage, apartment, double bedroom) with a total capacity of 8 people.

Everything you need is located within walking distance: large outdoor and indoor swimming pool (100m walk), cafes, excellent restaurants, and supermarkets.

Janelas do Rio Vouga

Relax at this peaceful place in Termas de São Pedro do Sul overlooking the Vouga River. It is great for a couple or small family travelling to this lovely spa town in the countryside. Nice riverside walks and great ciclovia meters away that connects the thermal spa centre with main town São Pedro do Sul through the old train bridges. Enjoy hot waters spa just 10 mins walk. The region has also plenty mountains and river valleys including picturesque hamlets through out the "montanhas mágicas".

Er is optioneel een ontbijt (€12,50 p.p) vol verse, lokale producten beschikbaar. Ontspan in de tuin, geniet van het Portugese landschap en ervaar een warme, persoonlijke ontvangst. Andar de 3 quartos em casa privada com terraço, wi-fi e ar condicionado quente/frio localizado na vila de Manteigas. Apartamento adequado para familia numerosa ou vários casais juntos, até 6 pessoas. A cozinha não tem forno e a lareira da sala é apenas de decoração. Há possibilidade de parquejar o carro na rua em frente. A Casa das Carreiras dá-lhes as boas vindas no coração da Serra da Estrela.
