Mongolian Yurt on the edge of the Galloway Forest

Our traditional Mongolian yurt is located on pasture land at our home on the edge of the Galloway Forest, a Dark Sky Park. With sunset views in one direction & the peaks of the Southern Uplands in the other, enjoy the panorama or sit by the River Cree, which crosses our land. Relax in the wood fired hot tub, sauna & plunge pool (extra fee applies). 10 mins from Loch Trool, mountain bike trails, wild swimming spots & hiking routes, guests are perfectly placed to explore this unspoilt region.

Short Term Let Licence No ST00306F A former blacksmiths workshop lovingly modernised to provide a bright and comfortable cottage. Located on the waters edge of Loch Katrine in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher etc. Linens are provided for your stay. From 01.09.25 we have a new hot tub and sauna available. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a Sunday arrival or departure.

Our dream of a Romany style glamping pod has finally come true in the heart of Buchan, near the North Sea coast. We offer a large pod with a double bed and a small kitchen corner, a small pod with toilet, shower and hand washing basin, and a summer house converted as a small kitchen. We are located in the peaceful countryside, 5 minutes from Cruden Bay village and its beach & renowned golf course, 10 minutes from Peterhead, 15 minutes from Ellon and 40 minutes from Aberdeen.

Kitchen boasts dishwasher, Bosch oven, hob, washing machine and granite worktops. Outside deck with stunning views from own private garden. Gate access to footpath leading to village.

After living in many different places, I understand how important and difficult it is to find a nice, clean, spacious space that makes me feel comfortable and relax! No matter what weather or we don't want to go out, we still can enjoy view even if we sit in the house. So we decided to build Ardtreck. The Boys Dormitory is a spacious four-star, one bedroom apartment positioned on the vaulted top floor of the Victorian monastery. The huge arched stone mullioned windows face in three directions with every window offering sensational views of the landscape. The monastery is undoubtedly the finest building at the Abbey and in the most prominent position, directly overlooking Loch Ness, the cloisters and gardens.
