Romantic victorian freestanding bath in the main bedroom. Arrival is down the busy cobbled church street. Best location. On-street parking scratch card provided in the W zone 10min walk.

Harwood Cottage is a very cosy self-catering holiday cottage in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park set in 150 acres of a private estate. It is central to all the local costal towns like Whitby and Scarborough. It is perfect for couples as it is very private and secluded location yet just a 10-15 minute drive to the local towns. Walk the footpaths through fields & forests to valleys with streams and hilltops with views. Drive to dog friendly beaches, picnic on the sand and breathe in the sea air. Return to the dog field for afternoon tea or a glass of wine, where a bench for two in a peaceful sun trap provides panoramic views of the setting sun.

Harwood House is a fisherman's cottage in the heart of the old town in Scarborough. It's 2 minutes' walk down Custom House steps, and you're on the sea front in South Bay. The house is on 4 floors. The cellar with the original range is the living room. We have a sitting room, dining area, kitchen with vaulted ceiling and bathroom on the ground floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the next two floors complete with sea and castle views. Inc wifi, parking , washer, dryer & dishwasher.

Outside is a part-walled, sandstone patio with table and chairs and a large field which you are welcome to access.

NO SMOKERS. The HOT TUB is exclusively yours! This barn is unsuitable for children. Please ensure that all guests are happy with the house rules before booking. Please also note that the property has slipper baths - there are no showers or shower heads (see pictures) Private area with seating and a hot tub. We are in the countryside but only 2 miles from local amenities. Pocklington is 2 miles, The beautiful city of York is 12 miles, the coast is only an hours drive.

Including Scarborough, Bridlington, Filey, Whitby, also york,Malton , Beverly, Yorkshire moors, and RSPB bempton cliffs. Spend your days walking on the beach or moors and wolds, then enjoy a drink at our village pub, then back to the cottage to sit by the log burner.
