Femund Lodge bietet einfache Unterkunft und ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Touren in die Nationalparks Femundsmarka und Gutulia. Die Lodge wurde von Entdecker und Überlebensexperte Lars Monsen aufgebaut. In der Saison gibt es ein Sportgeschäft, oft auch einen Kiosk mit Burgern, Pizza und Getränken. Außerdem können Kanus und Packrafts gemietet werden. Im Sommer legt das historische Passagierboot Fæmund II auch in Elgå an.
