Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

A retreat from the busy life, your cottage by the forest is just a short walk to local beaches, and close to the amenities that Galiano has to offer. It has sleeping room for 4, features one bedroom, kitchen, full bathroom, sofa bed in the living area and a covered back deck for enjoying the outdoors, rain or shine.

The cottage is approximately 2km from Beaver Pt Hall, 5km from Ruckle Provincial Park, 10 minutes to Fulford Harbour, and 20 minutes to Ganges. We are within walking distance to several beach accesses, Canada Conservancy forest, and a beautiful First Nations Reserve. The beaches are launch points for nearby Russell and Portland Islands in the Gulf Island National Marine Parks.

From the house you might see ducks, herons, geese, kingfishers, eagles, otters, turkeys, and deer among many other types of birds and beasts. A quick walk to the beach and you'll find plenty of skipping stones and an excellent panoramic view across the water.

This is a 600 square foot 2 bedroom cabin on Galiano Island. There is a queen bed and a double bed in the bedrooms. There is a private bathroom with shower. Includes a kitchenette. The house is a milled cedar log home that still gives a faint cedar smell. No pets.
