(kidding) You should be a dog & cat lover! This is an active rescue and adoption center. The dogs are in kennels, but have liberty times each day Please be a total non- smoker. This room is intended for 1 or 2 adults and a children 10 or older. Your FIXED, vaccinated dog is welcome; please see the rules. No children under 10.

Depending on traffic, we are 47 mile drive to Yosemite National Park along the scenic Merced River. Mariposa is a quaint little Gold Rush Town about 20 minutes away. The main part of town is literally 2 blocks long. There is no stoplight in the whole county. Mariposa was the 'Mother of all Counties' once extending all the way to Los Angeles.

The main kitchen is closed to guests. We do live here so some family noise/scents around meal times to be expected. Small animals live on property.
