The Seamist is located on "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access! This carefully renovated barn is located in the hills of Fairlee, five minutes from I-91. A stand-alone private space with two spacious living areas and decks overlooking ponds and the mountains. You're welcome to bring your dog; please note there is a $75 pet fee for the length of your stay. With direct access to extensive hiking trails and minutes from Lake Morey and the Lake Morey Country Club there's lots of fun things to do.

This one of a kind 4 bedroom home was built in 2018. We refinished an old barn frame from Waitsfield, VT and had it moved to our property. The hand-hewn frame of this early 1800's barn is a piece of art in itself. We have used as much of the original structure as we could to create a warm, rustic, and inviting space for you to get away from reality for a little while. Come enjoy a peaceful retreat in the mountains of Vermont.
