Drinks & Nightlife

Great little brewery! Excellent beer, friendly service, and a beautiful building. They usually have really good food trucks out front as well. Feel free to bring a picnic to the brewery - they encourage it, as they don't have a kitchen and it keeps you drinking :)

Food Scene

Great dive bar with excellent food and cheap prices. I'm unsure if they're aware that they're a dive bar, but there's no question :). Very much a hangout for locals. Everything is so reasonably priced, you'll feel guilty paying your bill.

Beautiful patio, very close to the Sawdust City Brewery. Refined pub food is what I'd call it - Delicious. More expensive than the competition, but nice for a sunny day on the patio

Parks & Nature

Beautiful Algonquin Park is a gorgeous highway drive from the cabin and has a great array of hiking trails to chose from. Don't miss visiting.

From the cabin, head toward the highway, but turn right onto Tyron Rd. That will take you to North Kahshe Lake Road. Turn right and follow for a few minutes until you see the public beach. It's sandy, sunny, and has a floating dock you can swim out to.

In the winter, this is the park to visit. It has tubing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and a skating path through the forest. Admission is per vehicle ($17) and equiptment rentals are reasonable as well.

Stop by the welcome center for advice on what to see during your trip. There is a great 2.5KM trail that starts here as well - great during summer or in winter with snow shoes.

Shopping

Downtown Huntsville is very cute and a great place to stop for a bite or for some shopping on the way to or from Algonquin Park

Everything Else

Be sure to stop in the town of Gravenhurst. The downtown is very cute and has many coffee shops, a vintage store, bars, etc. Don't forget to turn off of the main street to see the waterfront (follow the signs from main street).

Great way to spend an hour - everything that screams Muskoka is sold in this massive, kitchey store on highway 11.
