A perfect before or after stop if you are headed to our black sheep brother bar, Snake and Jake's. 'Delicious food and a lively atmosphere make Jacques-Imo's a popular spot for locals and out-of-towners alike. Specialties include oyster-filled eggplant bathed in rich shitake mushroom cream, deep-fried roast beef po' boy or tomato-based "Cajun bouillabaisse" laced with herbs and a generous supply of oysters, shrimp, and mussels, just to name a few. For a truly intimate meal, try to get a reservation at the two-top in the pickup truck parked outside.' http://jacques-imos.com/

This our other bar located in Uptown New Orleans! 'This is a dive bar — the casualness in which it presents it’s condition attests to that fact — but there’s something about Snake and Jake’s Christmas Club Lounge that elevates it above other, grungier joints in the city. It’s the reason Bourdain drank here. It’s the reason Clooney drank here too.' Open daily 7PM to 7AM! Iconic Music Club Local music enthusiasts opened the venue on January 14, 1977. The name was inspired by a well-known song, "Tipitina", by Professor Longhair who also performed there until his death in 1980. Tipitina's stands as one of the best-known clubs in New Orleans. The building itself was constructed in 1912, and prior to becoming Tipitina's, it served as a gambling house, gymnasium, and brothel. http://www.tipitinas.com/calendar
