Favourite cafes and dining.. In this section, we have picked out our favourites, that are in easy access of the apartment.
Great coffee, in walking distance to the apartment, in a nice Spring Hill styled location. Good modern Australian cafe food - simple selections, but done really nicely. This is in a great location for anyone coming to Brisbane to visit the St Andrew's hospital or the many specialty medical centres in Spring Hill.

Sisco cafe
500 Boundary St Great coffee, in walking distance to the apartment, in a nice Spring Hill styled location. Good modern Australian cafe food - simple selections, but done really nicely. Iconic cafe, Holly's favourite in Brisbane, highly rated and loved by locals. It's a trip outside of Spring Hill to the lesser visited suburb of Milton, but if you happen to be close to that area, do stop by to see this lovely cafe, fashioned out of an unused garage covered in vines, nestled in front of an everyday Queenslander style wooden house. It's great to see what can be made out of a disused, broken down old garage!
They do a great coffee, and also specialise in hot chocolates, brewed with various flavours like orange, lavender, chilli etc. I think that they only do the hot chocolate over the winter months.
Hours at time of writing:
Monday to Friday, 6 to 3.30
Saturday 6.30 to 12.30
There's a market held near here on Saturday morning to make a trip of it.

21 Railway TerraceIconic cafe, Holly's favourite in Brisbane, highly rated and loved by locals. A favourite, and something to be recommended to all guests is this cafe in a city laneway, in walking distance to the apartment. Here you can find really good coffee and great Australian style cafe dining. The food here is nice, creative and generally pretty healthy, which is what we love to see! It's definitely one of the best options in the area.

Felix For Goodness
50 Burnett LnA favourite, and something to be recommended to all guests is this cafe in a city laneway, in walking distance to the apartment. Here you can find really good coffee and great Australian style cafe dining. The food here is nice, creative and generally pretty healthy, which is what we love to see! It's definitely one of the best options in the area.

Due to high demand they offer two sittings at night. Two person tables are allocated 90 minutes while groups of 4 and above have 2 hours. Bookings in the first sitting are available starting at 530, 545, 600, 615 OR 630 (500 and 515 on weekends). Second sittings are available starting at 700 onwards.

A really great bar that show cases Australian ingredients and has a really creative menu. Cocktails are crafted to perfect precision in this venue. It is a tiny venue, so spots around the bar are limited. Guage is it's sister (& bigger venue) around the corner.
